I bought this to use with the Super Mario Bros WII game. It is NOT COMPATIBLE. What good is it if you can't use it with the WII games.

This controller allows us to play some of the older classic games on a new Wii System. Less clutter of numerous game systems and games and still lots of fun. The controller was in great condition and as described in the listing. The shipping was faster than expected. The experience was very satifactory.

Hello I'm an autistic adult gamer.

This is my review on the Wii Classic Controller.

I like the wii classic controller I can play all the old school games for cheap prices using nintendo points card. Work's for me. By the I downloaded:

DK 1 - SNES - 800
DK 2 - SNES - 800
DK 3 - SNES - 800
Indiana Jones - SNES - 800
Pinball - NES - 500
Hubert the teddy bear - Wiiware - 500
Amazing brain train - Wiiware - 600
My Dolphin - Wiiware - 500
Yoshi's Story - N64 - 1,000
Bokkutte Miracle - NES - 600

I enjoy playing these games. Plus there cheap. I'd rather spend 5 dollars rather than 40 dollars on wii disc game.

Get this controller you won't regret it. I know I don't.

I like this controller despite the fact I haven't played with it yet. This controller is sturdy, but the downside is it is not compatable with Super Mario Brothers new Wii game which most probably know now. Otherwise, I am looking forward to using it for Need For Speed Nitro.

This controller says it's made SPECIFICALLY for Virtual Console games. Why are people whining about "Oh, doesn't work with Gamecube games!!"?? The Wii console has GC controller ports... I wonder what's that for?!!??! Duh!!! The Classic Controller is perfect for Mario Kart, Contra, Shinobi, Mystical Ninja and all those good 'ol games you used to play when you where an elementary or high school!! If you actually bought 3 or 4 of these controllers to play Wii games or Gamecube games, do yourself a favor and try to THINK a little and ask an electronics clerk or do some research BEFORE wasting money.

For all those interested on CLASSIC games on the Virtual Console, buy this controller. It's PERFECT!!!
